I’ve got this on draft for a long long long long long (x 200) time…
I guess it’s about time I put this up. Haha.
Since, the “feeling” that I had when searching for this music is now gone.

Listening to this song over and over again, it is just something that I realize. Sometimes, I’m neither here nor there too. I’m always looking for a ticket on a runaway train. Looking to hide from the harsh reality but it always never help and I always opt for this way out.
I just need to face the harsh reality and work my way through it. That’s life and we all have to deal with it. I have to do it my style… listen and blend in.

The Love Game

The common and known to all, there is a “Love Game” to be played.
I once was told that, the “Love Game” must be played in order to win the hearts of the one you’ve chosen. It is like a rule of thumb in chasing the ladies.
Honestly, I now believe in none of them, the rule of the game.
Why do we all have to make it so complicated?
Why can’t we just embrace love just as it is?
Playing the rule of the game puts oneself into being such a fake!
Honestly, it is true. I did went on a mode to play the game, but I felt that I’m such a fake. If anything, I want that person to love me for who I am. Not who I was so that she would fall for me. I can’t do that. It would sooth my soul and heart but, No. I can cheat myself, not others.
I believe in playing the game of love of compliments, gifts and what not. But beyond that to the extreme of putting myself in such a fake position would just not work for me.
Gah, you find no sense in the post right? It’s okay, as long as I personally understand. I found this video on YouTube while browsing and it’s fun watching it. Watch this instead of digesting what I said above…

New Age Classical has always been my cup of tea. I totally like this piece by Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson.
Jon Schmidt is an American pianist I came to know about back when I was young. Days in the Sunset is the album that I have and that’s when I knew about Jon Schmidt. Others in the same league of New Age musics are the like of Jim Brickman or Yanni.

What I Like About Music and Lyrics

I watched this last weekend. I was all around the internet searching about “music and lyrics” and I stumbled upon this movie just as my search term, Music and Lyrics. Never have I heard about this movie.
Okay! Okay! Call me outdated! Ish…
So yeah. Music and Lyrics is a movie shown in 2007 and I’ve never seen it before. I had a good time watching it and I watched it twice last week itself. :p What? nice mah…
Starring Hugh Grant as Alex Fletcher and Drew Barrymore as Sophie Fisher, I like the whole plot of the movie. It is by watering Alex’s apartment plants Sophie got to know him. She interrupted when Alex was with Greg trying to compose a new song entitled Way Back Into Love for himself by the request of pop star Cora Corman.
Seeing how Sophie is good in her words, he asked her to be his lyricist.
I like this particular conversation between them:
Sophie Fisher: A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. The physical attraction. Sex.
Alex Fletcher: I so get that.
Sophie Fisher: But then, as you get to know the person, that’s the lyrics. Their story. Who they are underneath. It’s the combination of the two that makes it magic.
I feel that lyrics is more important than the melody. It is the lyrics that holds two individuals stronger. It is the lyrics that both individuals can sing till death do them apart.
Anyways… back to this movie…
I found out that Way Back Into Love is a great hit itself. Created by Adam Schlesinger, it is one beautiful piece of song which is also the theme song for this movie. I also like the surprise song Alex sang entitled “Don’t Write Me Off”. Beautiful, just beautiful.
