Malaysian Police Asking For Bribe, Indirectly!!!
Apr 2nd
It was after a night dealing with Mr. Freako I was driving back along the Jalan Sungai Besi linking federal highway. I don’t know what road is that. I’m thinking that’s the road that comes from Cheras exiting Mid Valley. Bah.. Nevermind!. That’s not my main point of this post. This post is about our very clever Malaysian traffic police.
I can’t remember how fast I was driving, but I was driving fast. I think I can join F1 already that kinda of fast?
So I saw some blinking lights ahead and I see some police cars on the side.
In my mind, “OKay! The beer was like an hour ago. Shouldn’t be a problem mah”
I reach to the checkpoint, I was directed to the side.
One police officer came walking to my car. I locked my car door and wind down my window to a quarter opening so that we can talk and hand him my driving license. I recommend all of you to do this. Because it is safer and you have your right to stay in your car until you are proven you are guilty and asked to step out of your car.
So, he came to me, and talk to me through the small opening of my window.
Officer: “Berapa laju you pandu?” (How fast you drove?)
Me: *ignores him while taking out my driving license*
Officer: “You pandu banyak laju ah tadi. Lesen!” (You drove very fast! License!)
Me: *hands him my driving license. Took out my camera*
Officer: “Saya tulis saman ya?” (I will write you a ticket okay?)
Me: “Huh?”
Officer: “Saya cakap, saya tulis you saman ya!! (I said, I write you a ticket! Okay?)
Me: “OK. Tulis lah.” (Okay, Go ahead)
Officer: *looks at me dumbfounded. hands me back my license* “Jalan” (You are good to go)
I was like… WHOA! It works!! I remember reading it on YeeHou’s Blog. The trick to avoid getting a ticket. Well not trick lah, but rather the whole not bribing the policeman thingy. Go read his blog.

See, when you ask to be given a ticket, that policeman doesn’t even care and just flag you off to go. The whole purpose of them setting up that roadblock is to get some bribe money of you, I guess. I’m sure with the speed I was driving, I could have been given a ticket without any excuse. The road limit was 80kmph and who in their right mind would drive that slow? Okay lah.. there are others will lah, but heh.. not me at that kinda hour when there are no cars around
The voice blaring out from his walkie-talkie is another policeman, watching somewhere along the bush by the highway along that road, reading out car numbers and their speed. Then, his hand was holding the summon book and I can nicely see that when he ask for my license, there is a sheet of paper on top of the summon book where that policeman will write down all the numbers of the cars that was being stopped or rather that he attended to. Beside the car number was like amount written on it.
It is like a notepad for him to note down the total of “earnings” of the night. More like a “kertas tiga lima” to him I guess…
XXX 1234 – 50
JHG 7654
KJH 8888 – 200
the list goes on and on…
You tell me… if this is not asking for bribe, INDIRECTLY, what else could it be right? If the policeman was ethical enough and is a so call law enforcer, I should be given a ticket. Right? Why flag me away?
So yeah, contribute to the economy a little bit for goodness sake you all. Don’t bribe the police and make them fat. They are all already fat enough and not really efficient with their work. Why pay those lazy policeman when you can just pay the government and help with the economy. Furthermore, you are bound to get some discounts from the traffic police department at random times for you to pay up.
I have to put in a disclaimer here. Not many times this will work. Asking them to write you a ticket just like I do will not get you away. I was just pushing my luck by not bribing him. It works with different police officers with their own personal work ethics. So be warned of this highly unpredictable ‘trick’.
Malaysia Boleh!!
Fxxked-up Reserve Unit aka Federal Reserve Unit
May 29th
If there is any alternative way to call the FRU, that is what I am gonna call it.
There is no way to deny it and the facts are all over the internet. Maybe not the
newspaper as it is basically known to be owned by the Government agencies.
I couldn’t imagine one day if the papers would run a headline like this in their paper:
“21 Years Old Youth Bloodied by Police”
How cool would that be?
I have been following the Malaysiakini for quite sometime now and nothing have
come up to be of my interest until I log in a while ago to read about this.
BMC Fracas: Police beat up youth
Syed Jaymal Zahiid | May 28, 08 2:46pm
By his account, he was only a curiosity-seeker who wanted to know what was going on at the site of a disputed barricade near Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) last night.
MCPXcheras mahkota fru assault on car sequence 280508In no time at all, however, Chang Jiun Haur was soaked in his own blood after being repeatedly beaten by 20 riot squad (FRU) personnel armed with batons and kicked with boots.
chang jiun haur beaten up youth by fru police cheras mahkota Chang, 21, his sister and two friends were driving away from the site of the barricade about 11.30pm, when their car was surrounded by police personnel who had earlier dealt with a fracas involving BMC residents.
A high-ranking police officer at the scene claimed that Chang had run over a FRU personnel with his car.
“He asked for it. He ran over a policeman and he got what he deserved,” the officer told Malaysiakini a few minutes after the incident.
Asked to identify the person who was hit by the car, the officer had initial difficulty in persuading the individual to come forward.
When he did so, the man – who appeared unscathed – claimed: “He tried to run me over… look at my baton, it is broken. What more evidence do you want?”
However, a police officer who took Chang to the Kajang Hospital said none of the personnel had been hit by the car.
Chang, when met at the hospital at 12.30am, denied this as well: “We had just come back (to Kuala Lumpur) from Port Dickson and wanted to see what was going on.”
cheras mahkota road grand saga barricade fru assault 280508 01He was lying on a bed, with a bloodied mouth. His shirt had been torn off by the police, and his shorts were drenched in blood. He was crying from the shock and trauma, and was unable to say much more.
It is learnt that Chang was placed in the intensive care unit. The other occupants of his car were arrested last night, but were released today according to BMC Open Road Committee chairperson Tan Boon Hwa who has been keeping tabs on last night’s dramatic events.
DAP Selangor executive councillor Ronnie Liu, who visited Chang later last night, said the police had over-reacted and that the excessive use of force could not be justified.
“The police should maintain law and order and not assault people. I am disappointed. My party will provide Chang and the others with lawyers,” Liu said.
According to Liu, the beating was so severe that Chang lost one or two of his teeth.
This is all because of the on going Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) dissatisfaction about the road closure at a junction which is a toll-free access road to the Cheras-Kajang Highway in Bandar Mahkota Cheras. I shall rant about this in a later post. I find it is just how stupid and childish and all for the love for money can one corporation be! What an asshole!
Back to the cash of Chang Jiun Haur. He was practically beaten and whacked by the Federal Reserve Units, because it was said that he ‘tried’ to run over one of their member.
Now, the whole point of view is. HE DID or DID NOT run over was vague. There is no solid prove to justify the whole scenario and all he did was just being a busy body to see what is the commotion was all about over at the junction.
This saddens me as I think the ‘FRU’ were TOO MUCH in handling this matter. Where is the justice? Not bloody justice, but JUSTICE! Is this what you call Malaysian law enforcer?
Whoa I’m loving it! Malaysian police can beat up any joker by the street anytime..
They are suppose to be protecting each and everyone from beach each other…
Now, they are the one beating every tom, dick and harry on the street…
Wait.. this is not the first time.. come on.. give it a Google and you will be entertained with wonderful videos and news for half-a-year.. maybe longer… I can’t tell..
I would bloody drive past those fuckers and even if I HAVE to knock some fuckers down I will do it! Dude! You are in a situation where you have two companion with you and you are driving, and a horde of “Fucked-up Reserve Units” are surrounding your cars and hitting your cars with baton and trying to get you out of your car and hell you know you are going to be beaten. What would you do? RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! No?
I would say he was shocked and lost and don’t know how to do and have much respect to the “Fucked-up Reserve Units” that he thought he would negotiate his way or even give them an apology!… FUCK NO man..
THEY BEAT THE HELL OUT OF HIM AND HE IS IN THE I.C.U.!!!
WTF! BBQ! KNN! CCB! MCH!

totally bloodied…
Thanks to the “Fucked-up Reserve Units” aka Federal Reserve Units…!!
Peacekeepers by lubang buntut! PFFT!!!
I wouldn’t risk myself in the ICU when I can sense the danger and when eventually in the video that we can clearly see that at some point he can just drive away and don’t mind knocking some of those idiots at the side because in the end, he can go and lodge for a police report of police assault… that also.. sigh.. That’s Malaysia for you man!!
I pity Chang and I cry for Malaysia…
Unique Police Escort in KL Traffic
Aug 23rd
Working in the the heart of Kuala Lumpur can really give you bad headache.
Sometimes, it’s just demotivating when i get up early in the morning thinking
“I’m so lazy to go to work, I hate the traffic part and work sux big time”
I was working late yesterday (yea, again).
The traffic was so bad, and i’m lazy to drive in a jam. Already the car is falling apart.
Let me show you how bad it is… Day and Night yesterday…
I think it is because of the KL one way traffic at Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Imbi.
Or is it the SMART Tunnel closure from 19th August till 24th August.

Day time is about 5.30pm and Night time is about 9.00pm. That long of slow traffic!
During these 3-4 hours of bad traffic in Kuala Lumpur, i tend to hear police sirens
very often. So often sometimes it’s very ANNOYING with the traffic police clearing
the roadways for the safe and through passage of VIP(s) to either
- go back to their hotel (paid by taxpayers) or home (larger than life)
- go waste some taxpayer’s monies on something i don’t know what
- go for a function or nice sumptuous dinner on taxpayer’s monies
- go for a nice photo shoot (they are everywhere); or
- for nothing! they just want through passage no matter what VIP mah..
My office is located in UOA building on Jalan Pinang, with a nice view of KLCC.

Breathtaking isn’t it??
If i could recall correctly, about three or four escort tours pass through the road
down my office along Jalan Pinang. One escort tour captured my attention and i
quickly video it down for the pleasure of YOU! my readers and friends
just like how you saw it in the video? I guess it’s a new tactical approach*o* I’ve just exposed a new police tactical escort practice. Am i being charged now?
Free Nathaniel Tan NOW!
Jul 15th
Nathaniel Tan has been arrested for no reason and without a proper
code of arrest by 3 plain cloth policemen. It is so unethical in their
way of approach.
I am blogging this to reach the attention of many of you out there
to take this matter seriously. Because you and I could be next.
I’ve faced the police before, because I was supposedly thought of
having drugs in my apartment, and boy, I know how unethical they are!

were not from Mystique. It was from Sanctuary.
Running down the target who supposedly seen carrying a baseball stick

at work.
They came quick and at once those who were involve are handcuffed.
Its the first ever “SWAT” like scene i’ve ever saw. The kewl part?
The gun clicking sound of ready to shoot when they are chasing their target.

Apartment Raided by Police!!!
Sep 22nd
I’m so lazy to re-type. I’m gonna post the same thing I did in Low Yat Forum…
Click Here for Low Yat Forum Link
It happened yesterday midnight, 12.15am at my apartment in Taman Sri Subang.
My housemate, J received a phone call from S saying that there is a knocking on the front door. Multiple knocks and loud ones and it seem to be forceful. S felt threatened and dare not open the door as she might be in danger of not knowing who those people at the front door are.
J and I were at a restaurant at Sunway Pyramid, as I was waiting for him to finish his work and fetch him home at 1.30am. We rushed back to our apartment in a hurry worrying that S would be in danger of break-in thieves.
We reached our apartment and we armed ourselves with steering lock and golf stick. I reached the apartment first and I saw a lot of Malay men standing outside and inside the apartment. Not knowing who they are at first, I was called into the apartment. The apartment’s security guard was there as well. I bet he is the one who opens the door.
It came to my knowledge they are policemen, and it is my own finding. I was not told who they are and they were aggressive verbally. I was told to take all my things out from my pocket, off my phone and produce my IC to them, and followed as they asked. When I was in the apartment, they were ransacking every possible item in the living room, and searching every corner of the apartment. The rooms are not spared, even the toilet.
So, there are eight policemen and one policewoman who came to the apartment.
What is more disturbing is that they DID NOT produce any search warrant to us. Whether they have it or not, they should have produced it to us for verification. Further check, I found out that they have already broken into the master bedroom. The police came in through the kitchen, as the lock was cut with an industrial cutter.
One of the policemen identified himself as Chief Inspector Ahmad from the Narcotics, after several probing on their identity and the reason they are there. They continued on with their search and asked us where we worked and all. One officer came in with four silver packets. It is the urine test casing. The police asked us to proceed on the urine test, so we obliged.
The test result was negative or positive also we don’t know. No answer from them and when they felt satisfied with their search and test, they just leave like that. No reply on what is the conclusion of their motive. So, our own conclusion is that it was NEGATIVE. Like we do drugs!
They were so rude and was all the time raising their voice against us. This is what dissatisfied me and my housemates. One policeman also said in a rude manner, that if we don’t follow what he said, the handcuff will be on our hands.
“Tengok ni, kalau tak dengar, kerjasama, ini aku bagi pakai”
Come on, if you knew your house is broken into, and your friend is inside, what would you do? Arm yourself and try to do something out of it right?
We were called gangsters because of our aggressive approach into our apartment.
How could they brand us gangsters when they don’t even produce their ID as police and continues to order us with LOUD voice as we enter into our apartment?
I find it so un-ethical for them to break into my rented apartment and do things without proper validation. What’s worst, their rude and un-diplomatic way of approach!!
I am staying with Malay friend, under the same roof. The police was so amazed that, we stayed together and was even more amazed to find out the owner is chinese!!
Some questions raised by the police when questioning my housemate. Who is lady..
“Cina pun nak tolong you? Kasi pasang Astro lagi!!”
“You masak babi ke sini?
In actual fact, when I went into the home, I didn’t say I was staying there.
Because I know, they will come up with idiotic ways to interrogate us.
But what is wrong with the Chinese and Malays staying together?
Malaysia is peaceful place, and I’m living to the status of our country as MULTI-RACIAL. I would rather push for the implementation of IPCMC and bring these un-lawful police to justice.
With what happened yesterday night, I would quote our new IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan on his call for a colour blindness in handling crime to all police for a review.
I’ve contacted my Landlord to proceed with law-suit. This is un-acceptable.
All relevant department will be contacted and I’ve already sent e-mail to all governing department on this case.
