So yes, this was my impromptu birthday celebration at Delicious, Marc Residence, KLCC. It was so impromptu that I SMS mass-invite so last minute that many people couldn’t make it.

I am just lost…

I thought I knew I had the plans and everything…

But it seems like I don’t know… they are all good, but…

Yes. There’s a “but”.

But, it is just, I don’t know where to start and all.

Maybe I should start by not giving hope and promises.

It will definitely be a good start.

I’ve not gone far. I’ve always been around. Busy with work and well, a lot more things that was bothering me till I need to take a break from certain things and well, look into the other aspects of life rather than blogging and “internet” life.

I won’t deny that my life revolves around the internet, but I just wouldn’t want to waste my life with the internet. The essence of life is more than just internet, and internet is just a medium or rather a bonus in our life.

Like a friend of mine told me, “There are more than just sitting in front of the computer and check people’s life on Facebook or Blogs.”

The start of the year was not easy and it was really bumpy. Lesson learnt the hard way and it does really hit me in a very bad way. Nevertheless, I endured and here I am, still standing tall, as usual.

Chinese New Year came and went and to me, life has just been pretty much, as usual with workloads keep on coming in life crazy.

I shall not continue further but here’s a picture of my family during Chinese New Year. I like this picture although it is blurry.

Just like how the family is right now, Mom and Dad is now retired while their children and their family are busy with work, family, chores and many more. Not forgetting the two kids as they both adds vibrant in the family.

Chinese New Year is coming very near and how is it going with you peeps there?

I haven’t even shop for CNY, which I don’t think I will at all.

I must start planning my leave by Friday.

Yes, I’ve blog about it and this has been my dream since 2005. I see an opportunity of this realizing when Tiger and Nuffnang came together to fulfill those with dreams dying to come true with Tiger Run. I wait no longer (although I waited till the last minute) and hence, this post.

I’ve read some other post on other blogger’s dream, searched randomly on Google Blog Search.

ShaolinTiger wants to get a Nikon D300s and a paint job on his Airtrek Turbo.
SimonSeow wants to go to Japan Homestay to learn the culture there.
Cheesie wants to go to Japan Homestay too. She can’t get enough of it.
Fourfeetnine will put it as a down payment for a bug, the car.
See Yin wants to beautify herself and go to Japan too. What’s with Japan!?!?
Huai Bin wants to utilize the money on Jestina. Haha! I root for you, HB!
Adele got a whole load of shopping list to fulfill. Okay only 4…
Amelia wants to get iPhone, braces done and trip to Aussie…

They all seems like things that I want too… but I have to fulfill my this dream that I long for it to happen. Forget about Blackberry Bold 2, iPhone and many more material stuffs money can buy. A trip to Turkana is what I want to buy when I get my RM 8,888, should I win them. I’m aiming for 1st Runner up lah, if win Grand Prize then RM 1,888 is a bonus lor.

I am totally serious and am so keen that I’ve even book my flight to Nairobi, Kenya on Qatar Airways which will cost me RM 4616.

Okay. Why I dream and want to head over to Turkana so much? 3 reasons.

1) To help build God’s kingdom. St. Paul’s Apostle runs a missionary there and I’ve been wanting to do head over since 2005. I couldn’t due to commitments here. It has been 5 years now and after following the developments there and how much I’ve kept in touch with Fr. Francis, I want to see with my own eyes the work of God there.

2) Get out of this hectic crazy city life. I like city life, but I do think it would be good to take head out to some ‘deserted’ area and live.

3) Soul searching. 25 years old and I still think that I’ve not achieved much. I do need a soul searching time and this would be a great opportunity for me. Away from everything else and a lot of ‘me-time’.

So, RM 8,888 minus RM 4,616 will leave me with RM 4,272. What can I do with RM 4,272? A lot more! Imagine if the conversion rate for Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) to Kenyan Shillings (KES) is as follow:

I would have roughly KES 95,373! That’s a lot and I can do so much with it while I’m at Turkana. This money can fund so many development projects like building a school or plantation project or water retention dam project. It will all benefit the people. Also, they need medical supplies too!

Part of the funds can support my stay there to. Traveling from one place to another needs long distance travel, hence money definitely will be involve. Unless I can learn to ride a horse while I’m there, then I can save those funds. Hey! Good idea. Will keep that in mind.

What if I win Grand Prize? I spend those who comments on this post for a round of Yee Sang! (I’m sure gonna keep them all RM 1,888! Who comments on my posts anyways…)

I am not joking about this dream okay! Look! I’ve even tried to go to the extreme to win two gold bars worth at least about RM 300 each!

So… please Nuffnang and Tiger, let me join the race! I’m so determined to win okay! What? I’m known as “Long Leg Tiger” for a reason you know.

In the end of the day, love is a very subjective topic and it is a very personal issue which takes more than one person to work on it, to make it work. I guess, when it comes to love, we just have to make the best out of it. Make the best out of love because love knows no boundary and with love, everything’s possible.

It has been a long day, time for a nice shower and sleep.

I’ve made this promise since 2005 and I want to live this promise this 2010.

Let’s see what will be waiting for me in Turkana, Kenya.

Back to basics… like real basics…

Lake Turkana… we can do fishing! Wheee…

As Steven, the assistant to Vicar General of Lodwar said,

“One month is definitely more than enough…”

One month it is then… In God’s will, I’ll be there…

Oh wells… Moby is feeling my soul now…

No more thoughts about it and this time it will be final…

I’m taking the 6 months time line seriously and it will definitely happen…

If I’m gonna exhaust myself, it better be for myself…

I called a day’s off today as I was feeling really tired. The kind that you get up already but still want to sleep and no matter how much thoughts are running in your head that you have a lot of work to do, you just don’t get up. Yeah, I get that this morning.

I think maybe I was so burned out lah…

Then, the thought of if I go for Doctor and I have to MC and then I have to claim. The question of should I claim or should I not comes to bug me. Why? Because The Office cap the medical claims at RM 250 per year.

Who caps medical claims anyways? So contradicting with the Malaysian employment law…

Then, there is… who’s gonna do the unfinished business at The Office?

The answer is myself. Hence, that’s where I am right now. At The Office.

Sad? You tell me…

I’m definitely better off running myself and hence, Project Capricorn!

After much consideration and discussion, I’ve decided to terminate that project and throw them off the shelf.

It will definitely not work in view of a few government policies and the monopoly of the energy sector in Malaysia.

Nonetheless, Project Capricorn will take place from today onwards.

I guess, Project Capricorn will be a lot more interesting while it remains to what I do best, dealing with people.

2010 will not be easy, but I will ride it through…

Took me a day’s off work to finally put this Project Capricorn together and kick-start it to realization.
