Bangkok Day 1 – Palace, River and Condoms
May 3rd
I guess I shall adopt blog post style ala Pinkpau style. Because it would be easier and nicer without much words, but just pictures and captions.
Also because I got so many pictures and I am lazy to elaborate the details of my trip and what not. Because, you should be going for the kind of trip that I went to and enjoy it yourself.
Also because pictures speaks a thousand words..
Now.. do enjoy… the 30 pictures I’ve selected over thousands of them…
#1 – So I was at the BTS station… (no, that’s not me…)

#2 – We wanted to do Chao Praya river cruise, so we headed to Saphan Taksin station.

#3 – Here comes the train…

#4 – We could have done the cruse ourselves but decided to take a tour then. It cost us THB 1300. Well, it is not really worth it. You can actually get less by going way down to the pier and rent a boat to go tour the river yourself, without a tour guide that is.

#5 – Our boat for the four of us…

#6 – Saw some temples along the river…

#7 – The Wichai Prasit Guns…

#8 – We made some charity fish feeding…

#9 – Saw a mini floating market…

#10 – Laid back lifestyle for the people staying along the river…

#11 – Artist house along the river banks…

#12 – Grocery store…

#13 – We made a tour to the King’s Palace…

#14 – Our tour guide. Let’s call him Bob and he is good because he can talk. We were exhausted because we talk too much… hahaha

#15 – More temple pictures…

#16 – Camwhoring in the temple… No, it is not illegal…

#17 – Very the golden…

#18 – We left all the temples action back to the city. But couldn’t go far, because we had to make our way to Erawan Shrine near our hotel or better known as the Four Face Buddha.

#19 – Flowers for offerings…

#20 – I had Pork Burger at McDonalds for tea break… Oh the yummy…

#21 – Back to the hotel. Rest. Then headed over for dinner at Cabbages & Condoms.

#22 – Saw Arirang Korean Restaurant on our way to Cabbages & Condoms. Wonder if I would encounter similar cool & cold korean lady there?… hmmm..

#23 – After dinner, we asked for mints after the meal but they gave us condoms instead. -_-

#24 – We then headed to Sirocco at the top of Lebua Hotel, State Tower for some drinks and breathtaking views of Bangkok at night. Very nice place indeed. Another post for this place.

#25 – We ended our night with a nice thai foot massage that cost us THB 300 each.

Ahhh.. WONDEFRUL.
That my friends, is my Day 1 of Bangkok trip… Day 2 was more relaxing with some action on hand.
Stay tune to find out more…

Vertigo SkyLounge: The Party Peoples
Jan 27th
So, I was at Vertigo SkyLounge and yes, there was a party…
Met many people whom I’ve not met for ages.
Those from Melbourne, those from Klang, those who came back, and those I’ve not met for quite some time because of work/busy schedules.
The party started at 6pm and I reached about 9pm. Thanks to the ever wonderful Klang Valley jam.
Imagine being stuck at Ampang for 2 hours when I wanted to leave about 7pm. -_-
I was told to call anyone who wants I might wanna bring, and since this girl just came back from Aussie, might as well catch up.

Regine and moi…
This place can actually host more than 150 people at one go. If include the sky deck, total number can go to about 250+? I don’t know. I am just guessing judging by the size of this place.

The crowd…
Meet the man who made this party possible. The Son, The Father and The PA.

Anak Dato’, Dato’ himself, PA to Dato’
Had dinner and then headed upstairs to the sky deck, to enjoy the view and of course, camwhore.

Pat, Dora, Regine, Moi
Everyone who attended this party are either really close friends, families and business associates of the Tan Family.

Moi, Nat, Jas, Tracy, Raja
Rue brought Sher Yee along, whom I’ve not met for ages! Like ermm.. 3 or 4 years?

She say my smile is fake… Fake?
It was about 10pm-ish and the other boys are just arriving.

See that Asahi there? Killer! Never touch that!

I don’t know what Ben is doing…

Rue with the only halal drink…
Met the Melbournites (whoa new word I’ve invented). Last I met most of them was at Melbourne 2004. Wow, it has been a while.

The Melbournites…
The place closes at 11pm. Well, that’s what the rental rule says. But, the host decided that two angpow packets may help pull the time longer so that everyone can chill around a lil bit.

Somehow, I find this pic very funny…
And, it’s time for everyone to leave. Some were tipsy, some where just crazy…

and this one too!!
There was an after party plan and it is Zouk.

The tired moi…
Surprise to have met Kevin there…

Yo!...
The cousins were there waiting for all of us to enter.

The crazy cousins…
Don’t need to summarize about Zouk, as I had already did.
I was bored and I took out kinky dice…

The Kinky Dice…
But, no one wants to play with me… So I became lagi bored.
So I what I did was dance. Dance the night away…
Private Invitation: Vertigo SkyLounge
Jan 23rd
It is sure gonna be fun!
Just by looking at the picture, the beauty is just… *speechless*

Sophisticated yet elegant…
The scenery you get to enjoy… *sigh*

Breathtaking!!!
Imagine you are sitting on the plush seat and enjoying this scenery with your love one.
Oh… so… the… romance ah…
*giggles*
Blanc Le Club @ Asian Heritage Row
Jan 8th
I’m sure many of you have heard about this new club, Blanc Le Club.
I’ve written about their opening on the 17th December 2008 previously.
Taking over the space which used to be Atrium, this club’s concept is Chic.

Once you enter, on your right, you will two sofa seats space.

The music in this club is loud, because of the smaller space they have here. I think, I will go deaf when the max the beat of the music here. Guess that’s what clubbing is all about eh?

They have quite a big dance floor. Don’t compare to the other clubs, the dance floor space here can accommodate quite a number of people. Given, it’s not a huge club itself.

Beside the dance floor, there is a huge VIP area. Very chic…

Then, the other opposite is where the crowd convene and a bar to churn out every night’s demand for alcohol.

Up and above, is the DJ console, where the picture you saw above.

I just like the lighting here already!!!

There is a ’sky-bridge’ in Blanc. This bridge connects the two separated ends of the 1st floor of the club. AND, this mini bridge is a danger for the ladies with mini skirt.

There is also a bar upstairs to churn out ‘unlimited’ supplies of alcohol too…

So yeah! There you go, Blanc at Asian Heritage Row.
My summary is that, this is a small club that delivers both service and music. Don’t need to say about ladies, as this club attract ladies with its current setup.
I leave you here with the numbers to call should you want to know more about Blanc. Don’t ask me, as I’ve just another visitor to Blanc.

The whole place is going to be all WHITE. White is their theme…
I’ve just came back from Blanc and they are going through the final stage of touching up and preparation for all light and sound system.

If you are long enough in the scene… You may know these people who is part of the team…

Mr Party Extraodinaire
Oct 15th
This is a story of a party animal in m3.. -_-
The past one month has been a partying month. Well, not quite, but the numbers of party I’ve attended is uncountable… Okay. Actually, not many tho… Let’s see.. hmmm…
I have the Clive Magazine Launch Party which was on 28th August 2008 at Poppy Garden.

This is where I tried to steal a tire on display…

It was here at Clive House Party I took a picture with Marion Caunter. Okay stop drooling…

And the peeps I went with…

Okay, let’s move on to the next event…
Its Prince Ibitayo’s birthday party at Euphoria, Sunway Hotel on 13th September 2008.

Met Jungle Jerry there and he promised to spend Tayo a birthday drink…

And you know what’s rare? I met my cousin there!!!

She was like dancing dancing and can’t see me. It was funny to see her face when she saw me.
Then then then, at the end of last month there is Hennessy Artistry held at Orange Club on the 27th September 2008. It was crazy night, that night.

The official photographer MikeYip was there snapping all the lenglui pictures!!

Then, what another rare meeting up with Kevin here…

Haven’t met him for quite sometime already…
See, I’ve been really cutting down on clubbing or going for crazy drinking parties already. A long talk over the weekend made me realize how crazy my clubbing days were back then. In a week, I can party like 3 to 4 days in a row. It was real crazy and furthermore, back then, money was really nothing for me. It came from parents and it kept on coming till now, when I start to earn my own money. I became more and more conscious on the money spent drinking the night away. Burning RM 100 for something that last one night, it may not be as satisfactory of buying RM 100 of clothing that would last you for years!! Agree?
That’s why now I dig chill-out sessions and well happy hour is my liking now. Sigh, then, not many people are so keen into chilling out and only a handful of them would come out. This is the sign. This is the sign that I am growing old and I’m starting to dig old man’s activities. Like how many in my age would go and chill in a bar or jazz bar or sitting down listening to some live band…>>>????
Do you dig this kinda “oldies” activities?
I do! I love it! Beginning to love it…
Quattro Club @ Avenue K
Sep 13th
Have you heard about Quattro? Not many I bet…
I’ve been following this new happening place in the city with their renovation and a curiosity to find out, I did some search and landed at their website. www.clubquattro.com
A very interesting place it seems to be and their concept. I’m totally sold!
It is like a haven for nightlife seeker… and their name Quattro goes well with the concept they are going to run for this place… Again, I’m totally sold!

Just like how their catchline says and it captured my curiosity to check this place out even more. “A LUST FOR ALL SEASON. 4 SEASON. 4 CONCEPT. 1 LOCATION”
These are what I found out at their website for each season…
Spring Lounge
Temp : +21ºC
Climate : Cooling breeze and occasional rain
Feal : Live performances by bands, comedians, etc.Find your comfort zone… Relax and lounge amidst the bounce of live music in a swanky ambience where the weather could be clear one minute or raining (indoors) the next. Park yourself at the stunning ‘Aquarium Bar’ (yes, the bar is actually made of real aquariums with live fish) if you’re one who likes his/her drinks served fast and furious, with a bit of flair.
Wow! Not too bad! Somewhere I can actually dig live musics and hopefully, they have Jazz? I would love to listen to some Jazz under this acclaimed cozy environment with the KLCC Twin Tower in sigh, hopefully they are in sight.
Summer Restaurant
Temp : +26ºC
Climate : Sunny
Feat : Cozy alfresco seating with view of KLCC Petronas Twin TowersIt’s hot in KL all year round, so get some shade & slip on your summer best and cool off at Quattro’s alfresco-styled eatery. While you’re at it, dig into delightful Western and Asian fusion cuisine as you take in the magnificent view of KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers.
Well, nothing much of a difference as they are whipping out Western and Asian fusion cuisine which you can practically find anywhere in KL. But the plus point is the view of KLCC. NZ Cafe not too far away down the road beside Public Bank building also has view of KLCC. Oh wells, this is niche restaurant we are talking about here. Oooo… renowned chef appearances might interest me! *ok I’m gonna TradeMark this marketing point*
Autumn Club
Temp : +18ºC
Climate : Windy
Feat : The longest bar in KL and entertainment provided by local and international DJ’sThe art of clubbing just went up a notch. Spanning a whopping 6,000 square feet, this colossal Japanese-themed club is the first of its kind in Malaysia. Autumn has all the elements to give you an unforgettable night out! Let the venerable guest DJs, both local and international, to drop the most infectious tunes and allow the ‘geishas’ to placate the driest of throats.
6,000 square feet!!! OMG! Maybe that’s why Zouk is having an overhaul now. hahaha. But, wait. Japanese-themed club!??? OMG!! with an extra G. Geishas!!! *Jaw Drops* But they also better have their waitress clad in Japanese school uniform! Oh the fettishness! ahha. Waiter? Ermm… stay in the kitchen!
Winter Bar
Temp : Main room @ around +10ºC; Snowing room @ -5ºC
Climate : Mostly chilly with occasional snow
Feat : DJ’s accompanied by live performersWhen it snows, it blows, but not at the Winter Bar. Sure, the thermostats fluctuate and may drop to an all-time low. The temperatures vary: at approximately +8ºC to +10ºC in the main room to around -5ºC in the snowing room. At the Winter Bar, everyone gets a reason to dress up and be seen in (literally) the coolest bar in the city.
Alright… Ermm.. what’s the name of the Ice Bar at The Curve called again? I just got distracted. Sorry! LOL! But, why no Geishas in here at this bar? Some extra “heat” would definitely help at this low temperature room, don’t you agree?
Quattro is opening in this coming October, and you definitely want to get invited to their Grand Opening! How? Head on to their website and get yourself registered and you can also include ten (10) other friends in the list as well… What you waiting for? www.clubquattro.com
Don’t know where is the location. Here it is..
Taken from the website.

Sure, this place is gonna make a deeper hole in my pocket.. but oh wells..
I can’t wait! I can’t wait!
Hennessy Artistry @ Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena
Jul 28th
So, this is practically my second Hennessy Artistry party after the previous one at Aloha Club.
It was by far, one of the well organized mass invited guests only event.
Good crowd, good music, good entertainment and of course, great drink!
I’m amazed that with such a huge area:
- There is ample large dancing space
- The ventilation was great, given a huge area
- Parking, is not that bad afterall
Now, I had fun, how much? I shall let the pictures do the talking then…

That was pretty much how I was feeling, when I was there.. a bit the blur..

Andy Kho, the first person I saw when I went in. Yes, I went there alone. Sad right?

The crowd was already dancing to some performance, and I was walking around scouting for people I know. First people, and of all person I met was Patrick Siao. Talk about random… *no picture*

Then, scouted for Aidan, who left me outside the club when I was getting my tag ![]()
Oh, Phui Wan, Aidan has been a good boy for that night.. no naughtyx2…
I saw many people there.. but not many pictures were taken.. so here goes the pictures taken on that night itself…

Kelz was there partying like mad…

Nigel smile, I WTF face.. -_-

Mae was there too dancing the night away…

Aaron, taking a break from shooting people…
