Jarum Halus Movie Outing

Went for Jarum Halus movie outing with the Christien New’s gang like two Sundays
ago at Mid Valley. Never wanted to go cause I got lunch appointment but then, since
the main actor himself call, go loh..
Else I will be hitting the cinema alone for two movies, since I haven’t claim my GSC
birthday treat free movie pass and Pavilion KL got GSC!
So yeah.. the movie.. It was good movie.. I bet that it is still screening now and quick
go and watch one of the good local production movie now before goes off screen.
I was practically rushing from Klang just to reach the cinema on time and I was late.
Made Esther to come out in the beginning of the movie to bring me in. Sowweee.. 
The movie as what many others would comment about is slow. There are certain
climax on different part of the movie and you can expect to see a lot of typical
Malaysian values in the movie. Overall, it is worth a watch. Else wait for the DVD
to hit Speedy videos. BUY ORIGINAL!

Yes, and that’s the blog… 
Welcome to the new blog. Re-brand under “YapThomas – The Ultimat3″
YapThomas being my name and Ultimat3 being my nickname…
So, Planning MIA never been happen or rather, unaccomplished.
Left work early on Friday reason why? Because the new head co-ordinator
cannot even decide whether if I should hold the office key or not. More
over, she can’t even decide if my colleague, account exec. can take the
laptop home or not to continue do her work. “_”
Everything is in a mess, and I think she needs time to keep up with the
work left over for her after two colleague of mine left… haha
But anyways, left early, go to gym at Subang. Met with Eric for dinner
first then go to Fitness First at Wisma Cosplant. Super intensive
workout.. kao kao training.. Body no strength. Imagine I wanna pull
my seat belt also my whole arm numb already…
Went back after that to my apartment and while driving I was thinking
of going somewhere, but dunno where. Jessy called if I’m heading to
Mystique and if I can help her get a place there. I suddenly thought of
movie, and straight away, Spiderman 3 hits my mind. Went online and
check the timing at Cathay Cineples, Cineleisure Damansara. Whoa see
see got 3 timings. 12.30am, 1.00am and 1.30am. Without hesitation,
I packed my things and drove to Cineleisure.
Oh and yes, I watched alone if you are wondering who I went with.
Damn sad right? sigh… 10 minutes before the show and still have seats
for 12.30am show. But i opt for the 1.00am show instead. Bought my
ticket and went down to Mystique to meet up with Jessy for a while.
Met Wei Kiat on the way down…
The show was great!.. nonetheless.. I’ve learned a few lesson from the
show. See movies nowadays teaches you something.. and the seats
at Cathay Cineplex is much more comfortable than TGV or GSC.
So much more comfort that it can support my whole back body..
Without having to irk for the rest of the movie because I can’t rest my
head causing nexk pain.. @ Cathay Cineplex, I don’t have to worry!!
Reached Klang about 4.30am, a slow drive from Cineleisure.
Slept till u know wat time? 3.00PM!! hahaha
I received a call again in the noon. Guess who called..
DAVID LAI called and asked me if I would be at Mystique today (Sat).
I was like sleeping that time and still in my dream mode…
David: Hello thomas.. David here..
Tom: yeah? hmm.. *sleepy drowsy sleepy*
David: you sleeping ah?!!
Tom: You’re David who?
David: David Lai lah….
Tom: oh.. hi!! *regains consciousness abit*
David: You gonna be at Mystique or not tonight?
Tom: no lah.. but see la.. maybe i will be there..
David: okaylah..
Tom: uh.. erhhmm… *switch off phone*
Ohkay.. so, shall I brand myself as Club Ambassador of Mystique?
*bahs..*
After so long sleep, I can’t sleep now.. I wanna go bath.. *runs*

The Constant Gardener

The Constant Gardener is a one of its kind thriller movie. One of the best
that i’ve ever seen so far. Exciting, Political Complex, Adventurous and
Heartbreaking. That is all that I can say about the whole show.
This movie showcase Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes, The English Patient,
Schindler’s List) and Tessa (Rachel Weisz, The Shape of Things, The Mummy).
Two veteran actors really brings out the whole movie. Furthermore, the
movie is directed by Fernando Meirelles (Oscar-nominated for his first film, City of God).
It is Monday, and the cinema is EMPTY!!.. Imagine that hahaa
The whole cinema only sits 4 person including my mom and me
Muahaha.. so we practically OWN the screening for that time

Went with Carl, Caren and Mom..
I am gonna meet up with Dr. Alan A. Lew. He is a Professor and
a Department Chair of Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff Arizona.
The meeting will be either tonight or tomorrow morning at 7AM!
He is currently attending a conference held by UiTM and also
will act as an external advisor to the tourism program there as well.
I hope to meet him as I am his avid podcast listener.
And I can learn more from him in terms of tourism and also his knowledge..
