I’m such a creative person… 
This morning I created a new phrase.
It’s called “buddy toh“. The opposite for “pak toh“. T_T
So in YapThomas’ language, buddy toh means going out with the buddies. I.E The Boys. Say, you have a night out with a group of boys then you can use it. What about girls? I don’t know. Maybe you can use “girly toh“?
Anyways… you can use this lingua if you want. It’s Free For All. No trademark or whatsoever. Just that,when people ask where you get this phrase from, just mention “YapThomas Dot Com”. Haha
Oh not to forget, I’ve also created another new phrase which is, “going alfresco” during the night out with The Boys.
Erm… I shall not elaborate more on the meaning of “going alfresco“. Ask me when you see me
Maybe you can get some hint from Dictionary.Com hehehe
If I continue creating more and more phrases with subjective meaning, I can write a book already! Good idea.. hmmm…
The “Karat” French

It has been a while since I last used any French in my conversation…
I need to buck it up now or else it will go down the train, FOREVER!! Nooooo…
This evening while having my break from work, I was talking to JuniorCindy and the conversation goes on as follow:
YapThomas: how are you?
Cindy: ca va bienn (I’m fine)
Cindy: and you?
YapThomas: ca va bienn aussi (I’m fine too)
YapThomas: i miss speaking in french! 
Cindy: haha alors, parle a moi en francais! (haha come, speak to me in French)
YapThomas: je parle un peu francais (I speak little bit of French)
Cindy: c’est assez! (That’s it)
YapThomas: oh no!! hahah
Cindy: je ne suis pas bien en francais aussi (I’m not too good in French too)
Cindy: comme toi 
YapThomas: j’ai oublier francais… (I forger French)
YapThomas: je need more practice (I ‘need’ more practice)
YapThomas: haha
Cindy: j’ai oublie not oublier! *Kena Ajar*
Cindy: haha
YapThomas: Maafkan saya cikgu…
YapThomas: Saya tak buat kerja rumah…
YapThomas: Jangan pukul aku cikgu..!! JANGAN!!!!
Cindy: haha saya tidak pukul
Cindy: jgn risau
Cindy: saya akan ajar. jikalau saya ada kebolehan itu =p
Then the catching up conversation ensued in Bahasa and suddenly she switches to french again… I’m totally lost and didn’t catch that word at all…
YapThomas: i want to hire people lah
Cindy: haha ou? (haha where?)
YapThomas:ou?
Cindy: wherE?
Cindy: haha
Cindy: ur french sgt karat sudah lah
YapThomas: how I know! suddenly bahasa then u jump to french! hahaha
YapThomas: a bit the karat lah… i blame my lack of sleep.. -_-

Hmmm… where is my French book huh…
See! I seriously is gonna blame my lack of sleep! So, now it is time to say goodbye to work for now and head back home to sleep.
But wait.. before that… I need food… Hmmm…
The Hotel Call
May 23rd
I’m back after 48 hours of hiatus!! Wheeeeeee
I got a call earlier this week and it was from a hotel inviting me for an inspection and lunch reception. I seriously couldn’t understand this girl’s language and it was kinda difficult to catch what she was saying.
This was how the conversation went…
Me: “Hello”
Caller: “Hi. I calling from P Hotel. Want to invite for inspection.”
Me: “Okay”
Caller: “Mr… Can tell me when time you come?”
Me: “HUH? What?” (I might have sounded quite harsh)
Caller: “Mr… when time you can come to hotel?” (Sounds dodgy)
Me: “What is it for?”
Caller: “Inspection and lunch. You come morning can, twelve can?”
Me: “huh?? Come again”
Caller: “Can come at twelve?”
Me: “The question is when is the date of inspection?”
Caller: “Oh.. err… next Friday”
Me: “Alright, so next Friday twelve o’clock. I will be there. Can you please….”
Caller: “Okay thank you”
She said “Thank You” without me finishing my sentence! What the hell!
I wanted to ask her to send me the confirmation.
OMG! Talk about bad England. Hotel summore! So the cina wan the caller.
