Bloggers Movie Meet 3 in Pictures

One month ago, this was happening…
It was a great movie meet and by far, it’s the largest crowd ever! 35 people came!
Little did I know that such a random planning sparked from a small planned controversy is now like a super big thing now. Let’s just see how far can this BMM go lah, say there would be BMM10?
So how was BMM3? It was fun indeed. Let’s head on to the pictures.
The usual meeting spot, McDonalds Cineleisure…
Collected monies and went to pay for it… Total RM 339! Whoa!
The number of tickets equals the height of Pamsong.
Meeting old faces Janx (BMM2) and new faces like Ewin (BMM3) are part of this BMM.
No boundaries, families are also invited!! Yatz brought his sister and sister’s bf.
It’s time for the movie, but not before the customary group picture before we enter.
A little surprise surprise after the movie. There was a proposal… So Shweet!
We are such a camwhore lah! Everywhere also must take picture…
The usual, what to do after the gathering? Sit down, chill and chit chats…

I would say, maybe the next BMM4 will definitely be a better one with more than 40 people attending and what not. Whoa! Ambitious! Okay lah… let’s see who wanna sponsor our next BMM. Nuffnang?
But oh wells… seems like the essense of all these has changed so much over the past year…

CNY 2009: Kids! Kids! Kids!

It was the sixth day and well, Number 2 decided to gather the whole Yap Family around. They all came from afar.
Some kids have grown up till I can’t even recognize them.
Some cousins also already have their offspring and they are so, so, so, so, so, so, cute!!!
The house is like a toy land already and the kids are loving it…

Some usage of ‘muscle‘ here and there… SOME.. some..
Did some spring ‘cleaning‘ at the apartment… Christmas! Christmas!
Went back to Klang for ‘tong yuen‘.
A Chinese delicacy which brings the meaning of family reunion…
and.. of course, usage of the ‘brain‘ to keep it at optimum level… on SUNDAY!

Dim Sum during the day and night… quite literally…
Deterred and killed the sick virus away…
Fever and headache was felt on Friday night and killed completely by Sunday night…

My Best Friend’s Girl Movie Date at Cineleisure

It is about (6) months since Pamsong and I organized Definitely Maybe Movie Date at Cineleisure where 16 never have met before bloggers came together for a casual movie outing. It was a great outing that today, they are known as DGMB as they called themselves the Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang. I personally would call the 16 now, a family to begin with…
So, cut the boring stuffs out and let me put forth the real deal which you are here for, obviously!
This movie date is being planned together again with the kick-ass lady Pamsong, as we decided, “oh well, let’s beat Nuffnang in getting bloggers to come for a movie, even if it is not free!!” heh.. okay, I made that up!
So, here goes, we are proud to present to you the 2ND BLOGGERS MOVIE DATE!
Date:26th October 2008
Day: Sunday
Time: 1400 hours/ 2PM
Meeting Point: Mc Donald’s Cineleisure
Cinema Location: Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara
The movie will be My Best Friend’s Girl…
I don’t know why it has to be some romance related movie but this seems to be the best available choice for this weekend. I bet it would be one great movie.
So , it is not easy to handle so many people at one go and I would wish your RSVP with the following set of rules…
Tickets will be booked once RSVP is closed to confirm your attendance, please send an e-mail to movie@yapthomas.com with the email subject saying “My Best Friend’s Girl Movie Outing“.
You need to leave me the following details:
Name and Contact Number (reachable one please!) and Blog URL (it is a bloggers outing)
You got limited hours to do so, until 25th October, Saturday 12noon.
Upon receiving your e-mail, I will compile them and let you know if you are within the number of booked tickets. Information like how to grab your tickets and what not will be given in that email. Of course, the place to meet will be at Mc Donalds at 1400 hours / 2PM.

1. Is this FREE?
NO!! We are not any ad agency. We are just not-for-profit organizers… Therefore you need to pay for this movie. Come on, spend some money to join in the fun can???
2. Who can attend this 2nd movie date?
We are not discriminating anyone. You like the movie, COME. You don’t like, COME. BUT, we hope the presence is ONLY BLOGGERS. Meaning, you must own a BLOG. So, register yourself a BLOG now if you don’t have any. Oh! and its kinda like 18PL… so.. sendiri tau lah har..
3. Do I get to be enlisted as DGMB if I join this 2nd movie date?
Last I remember it was “exclusive”. But DGMB or not, does it matter?
4. Can I bring anyone along?
Oh yes, the more the merrier. RSVP! If you need a school bus to rent, I can provide. BUT, must be BLOGGER!
5. What if I can only decide after the dateline stated above?
Ermm.. you are only risking of NO SEATS when you purchase it the day itself.
6. What if I RSVP and don’t turn up?

MyKlang CNY “Siu Kang Chiu” Dinner

One week ago exactly, I joined MyKlang forumers for dinner in Klang.
Yes, they have a community forum called MyKlang Forum. Klang Community eSpace.
“Siu Kang Chiu” typically means Closing of Work Dinner in Hokkien dialect.
Where the chinese come all together to end their day of work to welcome the new year.
The dinner location was somewhat complicated and not easy to find if one does not know
their way around Klang and being lost in Klang is like being lost in space. I rather get
myself lost in KL instead of Klang. No Seriously!
It all started with Kurauking the posting freak of the forum invited all forumers to come
together for dinner at his recommended restaurant.
This restaurant is located along the river that used to be a big fishing village back then.
Now, many of the villagers moved away from the river bank to the Port Klang town
to run their own business. The are only few houses left still sitting on the river bank.
Let me just show you the beauty of this place…

Yuen Buffet Steamboat Gathering

This is just a heads up on the next update topic.
Last Sunday, 5th August. We, batch 17 of Taylor’s College School of Hospitality and
Tourism had a small gathering at Yuen Buffet Steamboat at Mentari, Sunway.
A small gathering that we took up 2 big table and 1 small table.. 
Like 25 of us
Big table called for one pot of Tom Yam Soup and one pot Chicken Soup.
So we were all seated down, nicely eating… Enjoying our seafood…
I just took like group photos, too lazy to keep on snapping pictures la..
The food is just sooooo tempting..
I was told that Crystal married and already got a baby boy. O_O!!
