When I was asked if I wanna be spoon fed by Maid in a Maid Cafe! My eyes went O_O. “Really??”
So anyways, there is this cafe called Tenshi Cafe in e@curve, formerly Cineleisure Damansara.

Their main attraction of course is their Maids. Both females and males.

That’s Kurumi on the left and the one of the left, I forget her name already, but she very friendly one.

Then, there are Gothic maids and male maids, or rather called butler, if you want any of them to serve you.

Pure Blonde
Jan 9th
I opened the first bottle of the four different International Flavour brands I bought yesterday.
It is called Pure Blonde produced by the Foster’s Group in Australia. Hence, an Australian beer!
Well, one good thing about Pure Blonde is that, it is a low carbohydrate beer. It is at 0.9g per 100ml. Which is really low. Usually it is 2+g per 100ml. So you ladies who wants to drink beer and still keep a diet, Pure Blonde would be your best bet.
The taste wise, it is all crisp and I can safely say that you don’t get too bloated after finishing the whole bottle. After all, I was just taking it slow last night hence a good night sleep.
It’s easy to drink and I wouldn’t mind buying it for few more rounds.
Currently available at Cold Storage, Malaysia and I don’t know where else. Share with me if you find it selling elsewhere.
International Treat
Jan 9th
I was out at Mid Valley today and went to Cold Storage. Busy walking around and then I saw something.
Immediately, I basket them all. I haven’t tried them all, so it would be good to maybe try them now.
They are from left, Pure Blonde Premium Lager from Australia, Castle Lager from South Africa, Bavaria from Holland and Hansa Pilsener from South Africa.
Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh, Klang – Under The Bridge
Sep 11th
Hello World!! This has to be my quickest post ever! Something is really not right about YapThomas as this doesn’t usually happen.
Today, there were a convoy of more than 15 people who came to Klang for Bak Kut Teh. I volunteered to be the reservation “manager” T_T
Before I continue, kekawan muslims, this is a non-halal post. Please leave b4 u sue me… I got no money!
But anyways, these whole bunch of people made a convoy to Klang… super kao serious wan. This convoy organized by Eric Yong.

The attendees includes: @jaclynchew, @ericyong77, @wackybecky +2, @missyblurkit +3, @patchay, @vin_ann, @CharlieChia, @botakai, @bboyrice, @zique, @tperfectionista and others lah… (OMG! Have to link one by one so sanfu…)
The Bak Kut Teh (BKT) place would be the infamous under the bridge place called Seng Huat Bak Kut Teh. Ermm.. How about you go over and read about it at www.vkeong.com? He is the infamous (one of) food blogger out there.
So I went there as early as 0845AM while they were rendezvous-ing at BHP to get tables. Trust me, when it hits 0900AM, the crowd will start pouring in…
Finally they all came and @wackybecky went to did the ordering… Camwhore lah, while waiting…

There were all in all 21 of us and we joint 3 tables together. Gila convoy man…

It is not too bad albeit the number of media attention given to them, I would say that this is not the original “under the bridge” Bak Kut Teh shop. The original one is about half-a-block away by walking. But overall, it is still good.

I ate half of it already and then snap this picture. Haha..

Mixture of fried Tofu and white soft Tofu (whatever you call it)
Verdict is, compared to what I have tried years ago, not as good as last time.
Compared with many others out there, the meat is nice and juicy while the herbal soup is not too strong.
Just nice… YUMS
Rubs on tummy: 4 / 5
Location: Jalan Raya Timur (formerly Jalan Besar). Same road as KTM Klang Station.

Craft Brews for Good Beer and Food
Apr 25th
If you want good food and of course beer as well, head over to Craft Brews at Damansara Perdana. Was invited by Jen for a nice preview of this lovely place.
This place is like “the” place to try out new beer once you are bored with Tiger, Heneiken or Guiness. Craft Brews offers you unique experience of trying out some of the best home brew from microbreweries around the region.

Craft Brews’ collections of beers are in collaboration with Reddot, a Singapore based brewhouse.

These are the four beers I tried on that day. I personally like English Ale.

The food, oh my… I can tell you that the food there is fabulous. Maybe Craft Brews decides to cook up the best of ‘em all but still, yummy! I could at least borrow the tag line of KFC now, finger licking good.

I can sum the environment dining there with 3C. Cool, Cozy and Chic. I would love to head back there anytime, maybe for a nice date there.

There’s a wall in the interior that shows you the process of brewing beer. Talk about educating their customers. Not a bad idea for a deco tho…

The preview night ended with some games of telling the difference of the beers while blindfolded.

Thank you Craft Brews for the lovely night.

The Best Coffee In The World
Dec 22nd
All you need to keep you up and running for a night marathon is…

“The Best Coffee In The World”
or so it says…

But the irony is, I’m not even taking coffee.
Hot Choc Babbeeyyy…
Tasted Caramel Frappe also and I think, it’s kinda better than Starbuck’s.
Pat! You gotta try this place when you are back in January!
Oh wells… what a night indeed and it is just the beginning.
Decanter Too… Lovey Dovey
Dec 12th
Just back from 1st Annual Young Corporate Malaysian Summit 2009 and I’m sitting here at Decenter Too, Hartamas. Listing to musics like Wonderful Tonight, Eternal Flame, Titanic Theme Song, Endless Love and all that jazz…

This place is just nice and small… Quite the chilling also lah. On a personal opinion, they can do better with the music. At least throw in some nice chill-out house or some jazz or some instrumental lor. They kept on looping the same music over and over again. It gets boring after an hour or so. Decanter Too should maybe get a MP3 player and play hundreds of songs at one go.

The Christmas deco also already up. I think I would wanna throw a small party here some time in the near future. But only one thing that would make me think twice. The parking space outside is just too limited if I would want to host a group of 20 people or so.
Food wise, it is not too bad. I had the Mixed Grill at RM 30++. Mixed of Chicken, Lamb and Fish. Totally made my stomach happy.

I had a great meal here now with Tocklet sitting right in front of me and it can never be better after a long day at YCMS 2009.
