Nothing…
Nov 19th
“Nothing is coming! Nothing… Nothing.”
(You gotta say the above statement like an Indian. Do the twist the palm thingy and shake the head and fake the accent.)
Seriously! I’m super dead tired to today. I’m very tired now, but my brain is so active that I don’t think I can sleep later.
Trying to sort so many things to the right track today but well, not the outcome that I desire. Could it be better the next day? I need a better plan…
Oh wells… I think I need a nice hot shower better now and plan up later.
Call Me Stingy…
Oct 19th
… but who cares!?
I’m so stingy that I have to wait till 12 midnight only to head back up to Sunway. Why so?
I can save 20% on toll wei…!!!
That’s like a total of 40 cents of savings for the drive up…
What? I succumbed to a temptation earlier and now, I have to find ways to save every penny I could from now on. (Not really helping thinking I’ll be spending more than 10k this coming weekend…)
Boo Hoo…
Now… don’t get started on how I’ve been not wise with my money.
I’ve got more than enough of these advise for the past 3 days. I will work on it okay!? Like… ermm… try to spend less on other stuffs?
Okay… I shall shut up and head back to The Apartment already…
See yaa peeps. This coming week is gonna be an exciting week!
Ka Ching! Ka Ching!
Oct 14th
That’s the sound of my monies flying out…
That’s the sound of monies coming in soon too! It will be! Definitely!

Anyone wanna pay me to talk?
Wake me up when September ends…
Oct 1st
Cars honking, people chattering, motorbikes buzzing, sirens blaring, construction knocking, water splashing, clock ticking…
Ah… the buzz of city life. That’s just one small part of it.
The past few days has been really crazy and hectic but fantastic. I’ve done a lot of talking, eating good food, driving around, entertaining clients, presenting business proposal, meeting people, Twittering and best of all keeping myself away from The Office and the cyber world. That explains a lot on why my Tweets keeps updating and it’s so funny how C.Ho went all blur asking how I could update my Tweets when I’m not online
It is good that I have a phone that can read emails. Thanks to you CK! If you ever reads this. I can reply urgent emails and things in The Office has been well taken care off so no more troubleshooting problems and I’m very happy for a great team supporting The Office.
Now, I’m back from a long day out today and sitting here at the very comfort of my office chair I feel that it is all coming back to me again. Got some few surprises here and there when I log on to the internet world.
But oh wells…
Just one month ago I had the most enjoyable yet craziest moment in my life. Working for AIESEC International Congress 2009 was something that many people in AIESEC would dream of doing. It was a real eye opener to the things that AIESEC does and really, I learn a lot during that conference. I still miss those great time I had.
It was a great cultural experience to understand people better and a great working of both hard work and crazy fun. Next would be AIESEC Exchange and I wonder if it would take place next year which I really do hope it would.
Time flies so fast and now, I’m back to my crazy working mode already. I sat down over the weekend to do a mini planning of my next course of life journey. Everything has been charted out in a small book. Discussions were made and a few things being planned are now running slowly.
The fun time is over and it is time to get serious now. What’s past is the past and time to turn over to a new page and start it up like fire.
It is time to wake up and get things moving. Time to plan ahead for the future for my family and of course myself (if the family part doesn’t materialize
).
Spring Cleaning…
Sep 28th
… is what I need to do now. Actually, it was what I’ve been doing since June 09.
Takes no genius to guess that they need to set their financial priorities right. Thanks to SP for the heads up, I got myself an invite to Milan Doshi Event. Just about the right time I would say.
The first part did not interest me much but the second part was something new. The speaker talked about “Spring Cleaning” of each of our individual financial standings. Credit Cards, Home Loans and etcs. Formulas given and I calculated. *PHEW* I’m on the safe side (wayyy safe), no banks are coming after me. After-all, I’ve made friends with them already recent Wednesday.
It was rather strange going there alone but the speaker Michael, MD of Paysolution Technologies made it rather comfortable with lots of interactions.
I introduced myself to the lady sitting beside me. Held small talks here and there in between the event. She was a past student of Milan Doshi and she told me “I’ve made more returns through Milan’s teaching“. Now, that’s a good first impression on Milan.
At the end of the event, I asked to exchange contacts with her. (You’ll never know when a contact may be useful in the near future) When she took my name card, she looked at me again and then said, “You look very young in what you’re doing. Mid 20s?” I just smile and nodded.
What on earth am I doing at this event? Well, thanks to a friend’s father I got myself working with a property event over one weekend early last year and I was hooked. I want to know more and learn more about this somewhat interesting industry.
There will be more to come in this chapter of “Property Knowledge“.
On a separate note, GCSPPP Project will kick start on Monday. Am hoping that there will be less bureaucratic processes that I have to go through.
Too much to digest, need take a quick nap then next morning touch up on my IC Closure Report before my CCP come with a chopper…
How Not To Love Wednesday
Sep 23rd
This was what I Tweet-ed 3 hours ago…

How can I not love Wednesday when the traffic is so clear!
From Klang to KL within 20 minutes! Fuiyohhhh…
Talk about holiday mode. I’m totally on holiday today. Took the chance to visit banks (Hence, my other Tweet) where it is usually pack with people. I think those who are still in their ‘kampung‘ should remain where they are…

Over the Eid Mubarak break, I cleared my room and found out that I had too many dormant accounts. Accounts which last time I backside itchy go and open because I want to spread all my money into different accounts. Like for example, I will have my PBB for college use, CIMB for emergency use, UOB for “Do Not Touch” savings and etcs…
Looks like my “brilliant” plan failed. Jatuh terbabas masuk longkang…
Anyways… back to Wednesday. Yes! Just reached The Office about half an hour ago. Unpacked. Looked at the traffic below The Office and it looks VERY CLEAR! What traffic! No traffic at all! Like I said, those still in their “kampung” should remain in their “kampung”. hehehe…

Oh, and I’ve got a nice mileage on my car hehehe. Pulled over by the road just to snap this not so clear picture. For the fun of it…

Again, how not to love this Wednesday? I’m already packing to head home.
I’m just hoping that I will love Thursday too… Hehehe
Have a great Wednesday people…
Does Girlfriend Make Us(Men) Poor?
Sep 22nd
(Edited this @ 3:28AM because I think my England was so bad!)
Somehow, that’s what usually people would commonly think. See, we are human and we just take the easy way out, generalize.
Boyfriend will go broke because of girlfriend. Really?
See, this is a statement made by a girl who somehow thinks that by having a girlfriend we (boyfriend) will go broke.
See what MP has to say when I said I’m broke…

Then again, I would think otherwise…
Sometimes, having a girlfriend by your side will not make you sad broke. They will make you rich.
They will enRICH your life with whole lot of abundance of joy and happiness and of course during good times and bad times that makes one’s life even more vibrant.
A friend once told me that, there’s lot of joy to had from having someone on our journey. Be it in life, career or family and etc…
I would say that the common perception is that we guys will spend so much on our girlfriend that we will go broke. I think that applies to the those who don’t even think for themselves at all. These people need training.
Come on, you can’t feed your girlfriend with luxury but then neglects your own. You are not even married to her yet, what you thinking man! You can impress her lah.. but with money, neverending man…
Oh wells, I ain’t speaking from experience, but I can tell you that I will not go broke from spending on girlfriend lah…
I don’t know… wait till it happens then judge me okay…
“Chhoooiiiiii”
Sep 16th
The word above is what we the Chinese would usually say when a taboo was spoken or something similar…
I was clearing up my Facebook inbox few days ago and I got this message coming in.

I straight away said “Chhhooiii”…
Few days ago, I had the similar encounter and I was the one speaking about it. It was about getting a will written.
The person who heard this from me had the similar reply of “Choooii” too.
What’s a will you ask? Let me quote Dictionary.com
A legally enforceable declaration of how a person wishes his or her property to be distributed after death. In a will a person can also recommend a guardian for his or her children. Also known as a “will and testament”.
Writing a will is not that much of a “chhooiii” after all. It really does save a lot of hassle.
Imagine when you die and your children can’t take over your fortune or property or whatever you own. If you got watch Cantonese drama all also got similar stories wan. Children all fighting for their parent’s fortune and what not, and come on… we all should be realistic.
You can say that he is your brother or sister but trust me, deep down in your heart you will definitely feel pissed if your brother gets a larger pie of fortune than you.
What more if your fortune is being rob away from your children from a random stranger when you pass away. It happens okay!
Just one will can save a lot of time and red tapes to access one’s belongings. It is a dead man’s wish that MUST be granted. No one can take that away, and if anyone tries to rob a dead man’s wish, that person should be cast away to the fires of hell!
So, taboo or not taboo, we must face the reality. I’ve known people who has already bought their own cemetry plot. Because, buying a cemetry plot is NOT CHEAP and that’s why they need to “invest” in one.
Else, cut all the stress and ask to be cremated.
eeeekkk… time to stop now… laters peeps..
Planning A RM248K Wedding
Aug 5th
Had a great sumptuous lunch today, thanks to Dato’ Tan. Lunch delivered via his secretary and as predicted, I have to consume 80% of the total order because she has to fit into a dress this coming Friday. -__-
It was just pork knuckles my goodness! Anyways, girls and their “Oh no I’m so gonna get fat on that!” while on other hand they go “OOOHH I LIKE PORK!!!”.
Girls… So anyways, to my point before every other girl starts bashing me
Lunch conversation eventually landed to the question of me having a girlfriend or not. My answer is of course “Nope.. anyone to intro?” Right? We need to keep on prospecting, although am not serious about it.
So, she got a cousin sister to intro but well a little elder than me and her cousin sister likes shopping. (OH NO!) I told her, “Age doesn’t matter! I may look 18, actual age is 24 but I’m way better than my age.” (Don’t you agree?
)
Wait, I haven’t got into my topic yet! -___- Somebody stop me from babbling pleaseeee!!!
So, she got married and I was asking her, “How long it took you to plan your wedding?”. “Five months.” she said. I paused and repeated in disbelief, “Five Month!?”. Oh wells, there are people who are ready to their wedding within 3-4 months. Again, I look at her in disbelief and she said, “NO! NO! Not accident! Nothing happened!”.
Hahahaha
So, my question is that how long usually would it take to plan a wedding? I mean, a memorable one. Doesn’t need to be the talk of the town and what not but a memorable one.
Ideally, in my own opinion, more than 5 months of course. Say one year? Which is the usual time frame one would take from engagement to marriage.
But then again, it really depends on budget in actual fact. See, she spent about RM 70-80K on her wedding (Wonder if that’s the actual amount). That’s like easily twice an average person’s annual salary. Non-executive level lah…
If I would plan my wedding, I would plan about one year ahead with proper timeline and expectations ahead. What kind of wedding we would want? where we want it to be? How many people we want to invite? Do we need to filter the 3rd or 4th generations or just call the whole ‘kampung‘? What outfits we want to choose? Do we want a theme? Do we want Chinese or Western or Malay meals? What are the suitable dates? Are we ready financially? and many more questions… *phew*
But, let’s get into the budget of all things which would decide how big or posh the wedding would be. I will go through the essential ones…
Venue = Four/Five Star Hotel (Hotel lah baru ada gaya…)
1) Wedding Invites and Prints = RM 3K (Should be sufficient)
2) Dinner Cost = RM 1500 per table x 80 tables = RM 120K. (I’ve got big family tree and I’m assuming my future wife’s family gonna be big too!! And I want everyone to eat good food! No shark fin but ginseng chicken!)
3) Venue Deco Cost = RM 10K (Must got the environment FEEEELL)
4) Performers = RM 10K (We can’t be entertaining 800 guests!)
5) Wedding Rings = RM 15K (Mr. Diamond will do just nice)
6) Wedding Gown for her = RM 10K (More than enough right?)
7) Wedding Suit for me = RM 5K (Tuxedo babeh!!)
9) Beer & Liquors = RM 10K (My friends drinks alcohol like water!)
10) Wedding Photo Shoot = RM 10K (Fly all the way to Maldives!)
11) Church Wedding Service = RM 5K (Oh it cost to wed in church okay!)
12) Church receptions = RM 5K (entertain the church people)
13) Ang Pows for bla bla bla bla = RM 5K (tips and what not)
14) Honeymoon = RM 20K (To the land far far away!!!)
15) Hotels for wedding guests = RM 10K (Families and Friends from afar)
16) After party = RM 10K (The whole of SkyBar for the night!)
Total Damage? = RM 248,000.00 Whoa! *drops dead*
*breaths in… breath out*
Don’t think I can manage 10% of that amount right now. But who knows? Five years down the road I’m more than ready?
Who says love and relationship doesn’t come in material? It happens and we are just humans…
That’s why plan plan and plan!!!
There you go, I’ve planned it already! I’m on track! Looking good for now. I’ve got my priorities set right. Just need to fine tune…
But then again, planning is just easy to say but after reading KimOng’s blog, it is gonna be a crazy long process…
