When you see a beggar in the street what do you do?
When you see someone who is imperfect, what do you have in mind?
When you see someone who is less fortunate, what can you do to help?
Have you had any struggle in life that you feel so beaten that you think, that’s it, there is no more hope and you are useless and you are incapable of doing something great for yourself? I know people who feels so.
Then, let me show you this short film by directed by Joshua Weigel and produced with his wife, Rebekah Weigel which has won numerous film awards. This movie features the Spanish heartthrob Eduardo Verastegui.

This movie is about Will who is born without limb. Nick Vujicic acts as Will in this short film. If you haven’t heard about Nick Vujicic then you should start spending some time in YouTube listening to his inspirational talks he gave.

When you see someone who’s born without limb, do you curse him/her as much as you think he is cursed from God? Maybe he/she is the chosen one by God to remind us how beautiful life is and to also to tell us that despite any imperfection in our life, the love towards one and another should never be less than imperfect.
What do you think? I personally think this quote is so meaningful:
“The greater the struggle, the more glorious the triumph”
It is so true, the greater the struggle, the more glorious the triumph will be in our life. Simply to say, if we fall… no matter how bad the wound, never ever fail to stand up. If we fail to even try to stand up, we fail forever.
There are many people who has disadvantages and people would just ignore their existence or just curse their existence. Like those who have AIDS for example, people would start to distance themselves away from them.
This short film shows us that, even if we are in our imperfect state, we can still inspire other lives.
Share this with your friends, family and loved ones.

Shout! Awards 2010 by Celcom Xpax
Nov 26th
Last Saturday was Shout! Awards. I am sure you have read it from my previous post of Xplay Shout!
So yes! I got myself a pair of tickets to this Shout! Awards Live from Stadium Putra Bukit Jalill.
There were a bunch of us all there early… Elik, JacJac, Wingz, TallBoyz, Kenny, Dale, JasonMumbles, Jering and of course Lady Alie.
Speaking of TallBoyz, he is like the next person as tall as me, probably taller. Hmmm… See the comparison here, what do you think?
Okay, I think same height lah. Not like Kenny hehehe…
*hides*
So, moving on,… This is Stadium Putra at Bukit Jalil… It is air conditioned!
We all went there early and seats are actually filling in fast. One of the event crew came out and brief us of what’s gonna happen next bla.. bla.. bla..
The event crew were also briefing the “Screamers” that they invited to make the whole production look good. We call them “keh leh feh”. Hahaha. All they have to do is SCREEEEAAMMM!! Yeah.
Oh! They were giving out light sticks too and see all those people like zombie only. Just like the ones in Resident Evil hahaha. Damn funny. Kids… sigh… Wait! I think got adults too. Adults… sigh…
While they were all going crazy over light sticks, we got bored, so we camwhored…
Then, the event starts and lights are dimmed and everyone is going crazeee…
Earlier on, they had Purple Carpet interview actually, so there were showing who’s who on the screen. I manage to capture some shots.
Here’s HOT MAMA Daphne Iking…
Here’s Hans Isaac, Adflin Shauki & Nabil
BANG! The show starts! I actually like the lighting of the stage. Not bad actually.
The opening gambit was a song and dance by Maple Loo alongside the Wakaka Crew and Famous Crew.
Oh! Fast forward… Yuna performed that night. It was a lovely set she has there…

Then, there was Reshmonu…
and the whole cast of Cuci The Musical! Featuring Hans Isaac, Adflin Shauki, Nabil and Harith Iskandar.
Oh! I got one last picture sure you ladies out there will scream your lungs out. Louder than the “Screamers” they have that night!
Really wan…
I no bluff you wan…
You sure will scream wan…
Eh! No scrolling down!!
Okay lah… it’s coming now…
Wait… for it…
There you go! Mr. Gold… Henry Golding!
Results for the Shout! Awards are…
That’s all from me now. Till the next time…
Wow! It has been a while since I last posted quite a number of pictures in one post.
Me or TV
Oct 8th
I was suppose to self quarantine and blog only at night, but I can’t help it.
So, here’s the question.
Is it me or is it because TV only projects beautiful doctors?
Why don’t they have not so beautiful or hot doctors? Our local doctors also not really beautiful and hot also wan. Tipu orang punya.
Even Ugly Betty was made hot in real life. -_- Just a matter of words. I don’t watch Ugly Betty but I think it’s just the media…
Can someone enlighten me on this issue?
Why? Hehe…
Because doctors are so the turns me on. (No dirty thinking here please people!) Female doctors that is. Hot and beautiful ones of course. Now this shows why I’m hooked to Grey’s Anatomy. Why haven’t I started watching Grey’s Anatomy earlier?
One mention here from Grey’s Anatomy would be Meredith acted by Ellen Pompeo. Even after giving birth recently, she still looks great!

Now… let me see. Do I know any female doctors?
Ooo.. there are two. No wait, there are three of them! They are of high market demand too! Oh trust me when I say they are.
No lah. Not to say that if you are not a doctor, you are not hot or beautiful. It’s just that, my topic is on doctors now. I haven’t go into other industry yet. I’m on Grey’s Anatomy now lah. I’ve got another thought on hotness too, which I shall reserve for next post.
Anyways, I guess I still have their numbers. Time to do some catching up…
The Proclaimers – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)
Aug 11th
It was one fine Saturday morning when I tuned my radio to LightFM… I heard this music playing and didn’t really pay much attention to the lyrics of this music until recently.
Liked it and I would like to share this wonderful piece of song with you.
I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers.
Read their profile here on Wiki and of course their song sang live!
Nice? Of course it is! This is a one hit wonders we are talking about!
The Proclaimers – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)
When I wake up yeah I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who wakes up next to you
When I go out yeah I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk yes I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver yeah I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who’s havering to you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1000 miles
To fall down at your door
When I’m working yes I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who’s working hard for you
And when the money comes in for the work I’ll do
I’ll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home yeah I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And if I grow old well I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man who’s growing old with you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1000 miles
To fall down at your door
When I’m lonely yes I know I’m gonna be
I’m gonna be the man whose lonely without you
When I’m dreaming yes I know I’m gonna dream
Dream about the time when I’m with you.
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1000 miles
To fall down at your door

The Passing of a Great Storyteller
Jul 27th
I couldn’t bear the truth that Yasmin Ahmad passed away over the weekend.
I was watching Harry Potter when I was told about the news.

It is very the saddening to hear that one of our country’s very own talent has left us to be with God.
I am a great fan of hers and come on. How can you not like her movies!?
Last week I read her last blog post on The Storyteller, Part 2.
She posted a song by Maria Callas, an American born Greek soprano.
She wanted to use this song in one of her another film project, Wasurenagusa or also known as “Forget Me Not”. This is a Malaysia/Japan collaboration that bag the top Prize in Pusan last year.
Wasurenagusa is a long awaited project after Talentime. I’m hoping that someone can finish her this final piece of work in memory of her.
So this is the song in YouTube which was also found on her blog.
But I think, this is for her instead…
Rest In Peace, Yasmin…
Love Story meets Viva La Vida by Jon Schmidt
May 4th
New Age Classical has always been my cup of tea. I totally like this piece by Jon Schmidt and Steven Sharp Nelson.
Jon Schmidt is an American pianist I came to know about back when I was young. Days in the Sunset is the album that I have and that’s when I knew about Jon Schmidt. Others in the same league of New Age musics are the like of Jim Brickman or Yanni.
Now, watch this video and tell me if you love it as much as I do.
LOVE STORY (Taylor Swift) meets VIVA LA VIDA (Coldplay) – Piano Cello – by Jon Schmidt
One word to describe it. Wonderful…
Can someone teach me how to play the piano please? :p
Read more about Jon Schmidt’s biography.

The Show by Lenka
Mar 2nd
I shall take a break from blogging on my usual and introduce you this very the wonderful happy song. So I thought.
I heard this song while I’m in Australia last whole weekend. I just heard a little bit of the lyric and I Google and found out it was by Lenka who is an Australian singer songwriter. Read more about her at her official website.
I seriously wish to show you all her music video but, it is copyright by Sony Music. So you have to click the below links to watch them on YouTube only.
The first music video. Very cartoon-y…
The second and latest music video. Also official. Very cute…
But, she did a performance in some late night show. So here goes.
Very nice song. I love it. I love the lyrics. I love the meanings to it. Depends on how you decipher it lah…
Just, love it.
I’m just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle
I don’t know where to go
Can’t do it alone
I’ve tried, but I don’t know whySlow it down, make it stop
Or else my heart is going to pop
‘Cause its to much, yeah its a lot
To be something I’m notI’m a fool, out of love
‘Cause I just can’t get enoughI’m just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle
I don’t know where to go
Can’t do it alone
I’ve tried, but I don’t know whyI’m just a little girl lost in the moment
I’m so scared but I don’t show it
I can’t figure it out
It’s bringing me down
I know, I’ve got to let it goAnd just enjoy the show
The sun is hot in the sky
Just like a giant spot light
The people follow the signs
And synchronize in timeIt’s a joke, nobody knows
they’ve got a ticket to the
show.Yeah, I’m just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle
I don’t know where to go
Can’t do it alone
I’ve tried, but I don’t know whyI’m just a little girl lost in the moment
I’m so scared but I don’t show it
I can’t figure it out
It’s bringing me down
I know, I’ve got to let it goAnd just enjoy the show
Just enjoy the show
I’m just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze, and love is a riddle
I don’t know where to go
Can’t do it alone
I’ve tried, but I don’t know whyI’m just a little girl lost in the moment
I’m so scared but I don’t show it
I can’t figure it out
It’s bringing me down
I know, I’ve got to let it goAnd just enjoy the show
Just enjoy the show
dum de dum, da dum de dum
and just enjoy the show
da dum de dum, da dum de dum
and just enjoy the show
I want my money back (3x)
Just enjoy the show
I want my money back(x3)
Just enjoy the show
Don’t you love this song??
