Maybe I should start by not giving hope and promises.

That’s when one have to set priorities. You cannot please everyone. You need to know who and what matters the most to you. Then your efforts will be worthwhile and be truly appreciated.
Especially at down times, you will know who are truly your friends and who are truly your foes and who are truly just using you…
