CC Pre Stay Day 4: The Theme Parties

July 24, 2009 – 8:45 pm

Day 1-3 I was away traveling. So I only get to join them on Day 4 and it was crazy cause I didn’t have much sleep.

I have to juggle between my day job and between all these two places to make sure everything is in good hands.

But it is all good. I can see the teams are moving forward and what not.

Anyways, let’s get the pictures out…

That’s Rene and Stanley (Slovakia)

That’s Katja (Germany), Pratyush(India) and CK (M’sia).

That’s my Team Leader, Eldon from Canada in Blue with other CC teams.

That’s Jana and Mirka from Slovakia, Nitin (India), CK and Emma (China) from the Finance Department.

What we were all doing?

Planning parties for our 10 days congress and this was the outcome…

There are the generic themes that we can do:
* Red light, green light
* Pajama party
* Maybe a movie theme – perhaps – Slumdog millionaire…
* Disney theme  – favourite disney character…So maybe Aladdin for MENA…
* CIA theme – or famous MAFIA theme – so the Yakuza, or the russian mob, or the italian mafia, or the american gangs, or teh latino Cartels (I might be excited about these themes…)

1. Halloween party: Scary outfits

2. Super Hero party (Lots of tight pants and catwomen ;) )
3. Beggars and Bums party (Everyone dresses up in rags and torn clothes, with the most creative and scruffy looking beggars…maybe some horrible smelling people too ;) )
4. Bad hair day party and horrible fashion sense party (Lots of weird hairstyles and hair do’s and bad taste in clothes like clashing clothes or random mixtures)
5. Sustainability party (It sounds boring but i mean using paper, plastic etc in creative ways to make outfits, like dress from garbage bags or using materials in a creative way…dont have too many ideas yet)
6. Famous leader party (Dress up as people who have changed or impacted the world, like Mother teresa but also more unique examples like Malcome X etc)
7. Pirate and sea monsters party (I love dressing up as a pirate :) )

and this one… by Rue Hann

1. We can have an Inverse party, everything worn inside out :P
2. Weirdo party – dress up as weird as you want to, the totally different way of how it usually is worn! You can wear your socks on your hands! Or two sides of different colour stockings! Or a side of slippers and another is your snickers!
3. Newspaper party – You dress up in your selfcreated newspaper attire!
4. Sunglass party – Go with the theme IT IS HOT~~ yeah so you need your sunglasses..any kind any brand any shape any colour any size!

and many many more! Parties for 10 Days! That’s gonna be fun for IC2009!

I personally like Inverse Party and Weirdo Party out of the lot.
