I’m from Penang, my wife is from T’ganu and (for now) we’re staying in Klang. the nature of our business requires near constant net connections, and we travel a lot. been using Celcom BB for quite some time now and while its performance is ok at best, the coverage is, to me at least, unbeatable.

Never tried Celcom and never tried Digi, but used to have a “entry-level” package (with minimum speed) from P1 and my experience wasn’t so great – maybe it’s the area (Sentul, KL) or the way the modem meant to work (it’s directional so depending where in the apartment, I always to have to “adjust the direction it points to” and I hated that)

On the other hand, have just started using Maxis Mobile Broadband (just because their promoter are always in my face) I also signed up for their entry level package (RM38 per month with modem) and surprisingly (because many people said their services sucks) the speed was reasonable (did an internet speed test and got 1.44 Mbps for download – that’s better than most fixed line Stramyx connections!) and connection was stable.. longest uninterupted connection was about 3 hours (and it stopped because my laptop ran out of battery not because of it)…

So I guess different people with different experiences huh?

well i saw some1 at starbucks using it.. he downloaded x-men (leaked copy) from bittorrent and after my coffee and lunch i saw him watching it… >.<
