people ask me:

People P1 :Mr Yew, you cannot compare 3G and WIMAX!we are not selling 3G
Mr Yew: no, i didn’t mention 3G! i said 1.2Mbps, 2.4Mbps, 3.6Mbps, 10Mbps 70Mbps and 100Mbps, i said also RM58, RM 98 only
People P1 : our speed is more faster than 3G
Mr Yew: eh fren, even my maths is A2 in SPM, but don’y you tell me 3.6Mbps is slower than 2.4Mbps. Some more, how much it cost for your packges?
People P1: we cannot tell u now, wait for one or two month lah
Mr Yew: ok, what is your WIMAX’s selling point, how to let people Subscribe?

1.2 Mbps only mah! so what ?

Telco M and C , 3.6Mbps package only RM 98
hear that Telco D’s package only RM 58 woh

WIMAX can reach 10Mbps to 70 Mbps, now launch only 1.2 Mbps and 2.4 Mbps?

I checked out the prices and its lower than my expectation.. For early birds, P1 is offering RM99 for a 1.2 Mbps package

Ya da ya da ya da but we want to know the backbone, does it go through tmnet. If so, expect congestion to overseas, so it is still not resolve until tmnet the only player in Malaysia to complete the 1.92 terabyte cable (i think) to USA which is shared among ten countries. Till then, Wimax is useless unless its affordable for portability.

The thing i hope now is the price for Wimax affordable, i pay about Rm88 for Streamyx, sometimes the network slow also. Just hope Wimax price can within Rm150. =p
