Job Description Of A Guest Blogger

[Che wah. Check out that title, man. So terrer. I think I came up with a damn good, super-kick-ass title for this post lah, Thomas. You owe me big time. For this and amongst other things, of course. Things too scandalous to ever be mentioned online. Things too private to discuss in a public blog. Right? Right? RIGHT.]

So this is the first time I’m guest blogging. For Thomas and for anyone else for that matter. And so, I thought to myself, “What the heck does a guest blogger blog about anyways?!” Should I blog about my day? Hmmm. A bit weird, right? Since it’s not my blog in the first place. Do I talk about Thomas and what he’s doing? Hmmm. Problem also. I don’t know what he’s doing! (Yeah, we’re not that close wan actually. HE only yang suka suka want to be close to me cos he knows I have super powers on invisibility that I tell no other person about. *snicker*) Can I just blog on my blog and then Copy-Paste it here? Easier right? Summore got a sense of ‘togetherness’ when we have duplicated posts hor? (Dammit, I’m so full of crap I also cannot tahan myself.) Can I talk bad about him? Maybe. Can. Okay, think I’ll do that. Tee hee.

KIDDING!!! Not.

Okay, I think I quite keluar topik already.

Time to go back to that super-kick-ass post title.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF A GUEST BLOGGER:

1. Talk nonsense while the blog owner’s away.
2. Talk nonsense while the blog owner’s away.

Okay, I’ve done my part in answering my post title. Now for the history behind this whole guest blogging deal with me and Mr Tommy Hilfiger wannabe here. One day, my phone went “beep beep” “beep beep”. Tengok tengok, it was Yap Thomas (YT) lor. All he said was, “Pam! Guest BLOG for me???” (Or something like that lah. I also cannot remember already. All I know was that the word ‘blog’ was in caps.) So since he caught me on a good day, I said, “Sure sure.”

Done deal.

The plan? For Pam Song to publish on Thursday. (That’s like… 2 days ago. Haha.) BUT BUT BUT before you lousy judger-ing judgmental people judge me, lemmie tell you that IT WASN’T MY FAULT! Stupid WordPress tak mau kawan me. (I don’t know why you guys use these systems lah. Too rich issit? Use Blogger like me can? So convenient, summore free. Haih. Petrol naik harga… please lah. Save a bit can or not?) I just couldn’t load the admin login page so… that was the end of the Thursday plan.

YEEESSSS!!! Pam Song’s off the hook! Yay!

So there I was, celebrating my freedom from Guest Blogging with some champagne, dim lights and light jazz… (YOU DREAM LAH. I WAS AT WORK LAH. Ish.) …when YT suddenly dropped me a message on googletalk. Tau apa dia buat??? No “Hello, Pam. How are you? Did you have a good day at work?” nothing, he terus say, “Pam! I still want you to guest blog!”

PIANG!

Ingatkan dah cabut lari, mana tau

tak lari cukup jauh. Haha.

So here I am. Blogging. At 2.48 in the morning. After a long, hard day at work. Am I nice or am I nice lah, I ask you all??? Haih. Anyway, I think I did what was demanded of me as a Guest Blogger.
