Exactly in 10 days, we will see Pangea Day coming to our shor, here in Malaysia.

This is one huge event with wide coverage of this event internationally.

This is a day of Global Storytellers, where people talk about their lifes, inspiring others.
It is a day that we learn about each other’s country and cultural diversity.

Global Storytellers

Pangea Day is the epitome of an event that uses the power of films to bring people from all over the world together at one time at different venues to unite them with a single heart and mind to watch films of each other and understand each other’s culture better.I find this idea is very interesting and it somehow intrigue me to be part of this event. Not by just joining and supporting it, but to host this event itself. It is not much of a host but thanks to MySpicyCorner and its owner, Ija Mohan, this event is not big, but at least we got a venue to bring people together.

If you are wondering what type of films you would be watching, go to Pangea Day Films page and read about all the films they are going to show for the 4 hours duration.

After reading the synopsis of most of the films, I am seriously looking forward to this day.

Some of the notable films I wouldn’t want to miss are

- Ghana’s Roosting Bird
- The Americana Project: Cuba
- Stranger In Her Own City
- Por Que Lo Hago? (Why I Do It)
- Mutual Recognition
- 2 Men, 1 War, 33 Years On

There are a whole lot more and these films are mostly made by independent filmmakers and they are all an inspiring lot!

Many are supporting and being part of this great event. People like Cameron Diaz, Robby Williams, David Blaine, Karen Armstrong, Kevin Wall and many more personalities are joining this event.

ARE YOU?
