It's all about my travel experience and things I love to do…
GK3 and YSEI
These two abbreviation groups are the movers and shifters of the future as I would put it.
GK3 stands for the third conference of Global Knowledge Partnership held in our country
soil just the past week at KLCC while YSEI stands for Youth Social Enterprise Initiative.
YSEI has launched recently a book called,

This event saw more than 1,500 participants from all over the world coming together
with their visions, mission and innovations to change the world for a better future.
I heard so much about GKP prior to their arrival here in Malaysia. Much of only what
I read in their website and reading everything they do for a better tomorrow to many.
YSEI on another hand is a group of youth which I read on the GK3 website so much
that I made a point I should go to the GK3 exhibition to find out more about them.
I met this guy named Bruno, who was more than willing to tell me more about YSEI
and also about Young Social Entrepreneurs. I was given a book from their booth entitled “Startup and Change the World“. This book is marvelous!

This book is a great guide to those who wants to start a Social Enterprise and you might
be asking what is Social Entrepreneurship? In this book it is defined as follow:
ability to forge a new, stable equilibrium that releases trapped potential or alleviates the suffering of the targeted group, and through imitation and the creation of a stable ecosystem around the new equilibrium ensuring a better future for the targeted group and even societty at large.
Deep stuffs? hah.. not so I would say. To know more about Social Entrepreneurs all
around the world and what they do, head on to their playground at futureshifters.
These are some of the pictures I took while I was there.

This is what Alcatel-Lucent to help rural communities to get access to technology.

This is the board where Social Entrepreneurs can post and share their work.
Pretty impressive huh? It is all in the mind and it all begins from there..
Just a small idea, possible or impossible, it will spark some change, small or big..
