The recent Australian 2007 Election very much intrigue me than our very own country’s
‘erection’. Rudd is the way to do and I hope to see something similar here next ‘erection’.
Maybe it is because of his new policies and also the rectification of Kyoto Protocal.

Currently, the United Nations Climate Change Conference is going on in Bali till 14th Dec.
There is a call join Al Gore in his fight for a climate change policy by 2010. I am not a big
fan of Al Gore, but you might have heard of him from Live Earth.

I have already signed the petition. Will you?

But just merely signing the petition you are not really helping much. You must be part of the initiative of climate change – self initiative.
At the Alliance for Climate Change, you can find a lot of tips that you can adopt to save the environment from A-Z on their sidebar listing.

Personally, I have been doing my own recycling of bottles and papers at the Recycling Center at Carrefour shopping complex, Subang. Up to date, I have made more than
RM 20 by doing so and I have recycled more than 80kg of papers and 30kg of plastics.

My house mates buys bottled waters in boxes every week to be consumed and we
have papers everyday, from newspaper to magazines. They always put it one corner
and packed it up for me to recycle and the money I made goes to purchasing little
things like clocks, light bulbs and other household items.

In my office also, I’ve initiated the must for recycling for papers and the responsibility
of printing only when needed and usage of double sided printing. This has already
contributed to a huge savings in papers as we always print stuffs for archive storage.

Recycle don’t need much effort and all it needs is your initiative. Furthermore, you
can earn a good handsome morning tea pocket money if you are very hardworking.

I’ve known this girl who goes to Subway everyday to collect all the paper box which
they discard and she earns on average RM1o – RM15 daily by recycling them.
Do the math yourself. RM 10 x 31 days. That’s RM300 on average a month extra.
Isn’t that good pocket money? It is!

Be part of the climate change. Start recycling today!
