There is a group within us that we do not know much about has born..
Thanks to the initiators Khai Loon and Yee Ling…

Youth 4 Change’s main objective is to encourage youths to be active in
political agenda and also to pursue for a more transparency and democratic
government and local governence.

I was invited to one of their open public forum on New Economic Policy(NEP)
and “ASLI Research on Bumi Equity”. It was very eye-opening and to me,
more youths should be encouraged to join this kind of open discussion..

Some of the pointers we talked about during this forum are mainly on how
NEP was constructed and the hidden agendas behind NEP and also the ASLI
report on bumi equity share which was much being talked around the country.

The ASLI report was being viewed only at one point but there are also many
other point that we can view the report and one of the was the methology
ASLI used on their research.. and ASLI was being shot because of their report
that was “pressume” WRONG by the government.

What is so important about bumi-equity anyway, in my own opinion.
No matter how much you champion 30% of bumi-equity, the country has
not seen tremendous growth just like Singapore or any of our neighbouring
countries whom are doing far better than us!!

Another main pointers also is the involvement of Youths in day-to-day agenda.
Mainly in how our country is being run and the local governence..
We elect our representative to run and rule our country, but in the end, we
are being stabbed at the back for not getting much and benefit from them
being appointed because in-fact appointing them benefit them the most.

We all can make a change we know what is going and and we all take care
of our surrounding. Looking at our current situation in our government, we
all need change. BADLY…
