DGMB Movie Meet 3 Is HAPPENING!

Happening as in it’s going to happen.
Also happening as it is happening as it is lah! Muahaha
So here are the details
We’ll meet up at 12pm for lunch @ McD Cinileisure before heading to the cinemas @ 2.20PM
*Please be reminded that this is not a Nuffnang/Advertlets event, it’s an open event where Glitterati/Non-Glitterati/Titans/Non-Titans bloggers can join, thus this whole thing IS NOT FREE (the food and the movie) as we’re not as awesome/powderful as Nuffnang or Advertlets getting free stuffs here and there for everyone. =)
We’re just a few individuals who love meeting new people making new friends every now and then and this is more like a bloggers get together thing. So yea we’re paying the food and the movie ourselves as well and so i hope you understand. =)

Before I start…
Happy First Anniversary DGMBians…!!!!!!!!
So fast time flies and I just felt that it was just yesterday that I met the bunch of crazy peeeple of DGMBians. It was just a random thought and suggestion with Pamsong after the Narymama and YapThomas drama that we do a movie meet with bloggers. Thus came the plan of the first Blogger’s Movie Meet (BMM).
It has been a year now. The GMail ‘thread‘ is now already reaching 30,000 emails of correspondence. Isn’t that crazy? All that we have shared and all that we have gone through in this small family is all there. We have the infamous ‘tokkokthread‘ which everyone of us rant there daily… and I think we should revive TKT 3 Word thread… 
So, this is us, the DGMBians, as how we are fondly known in the Nuffnang community. Don’t get me wrong when I say that people wants to join DGMB. It’s like a club that people wants to join, but we ain’t no club. We are just random people who happened to come together and happened to adopt the nickname of Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang to actually ‘bang‘ Innit with our outing post. Say “ahhhh… now I get it…” There is no such thing as exclusive or what… all are welcome… we are very nice wan and we don’t bite.. 
So here you go, the 1st Blogger’s Movie Meet.

Ever since the first BMM started, there is only a second installment of BMM which was much smaller scale. I just found out that I didn’t blog about this back then.

Because it is on Sunday and most people are free on Sundays so, COME!
Where? Cathay Cineplexes, Cineleisure Damansara
Because we love the seats there and it was when the first BMM was held.
What movie? He Is Just Not Into You
Because we love chic-flick and don’t ask further than that! :p
What time? 2.20 PM Movie
Because it is after-noon and you should be wide awake already!

DGMB Christmas Rendezvous

It was 20th December 2008…
A dinner being planned by Joshua at Desa Park City. A very nice place indeed.
Anyways, the dinner and after dinner was great. A good catching up and going all crazy session.
I shall let all the pictures do all the talking… 
The place was Kay’s Cafe at Desa Park City…
The ones who reach early…
We have a Santa in the house…
They started camwhoring early…
Then, at 9pm plus, the two VIP Reindeers arrive.. -_- Oh wells, come late ma VIP lor
and… it all started again… *chichak* *chichak*
Time to order food. It was Cabonara and Black Pepper Lamp Chop
After dinner, when there is nothing better to do… A small competition.
Winner is yet to be decided…
Then, more camera shutter sounds heard…
before we all went bonkers…
Once we are done at Kay’s Cafe, to the playground we head to…
and the FUN begins…
and also, I kinda hurt my hip on this turn-turn thingy…
then, we all exchange gifts…
We found a spotlight beaming towards an empty wall… thus, we played shadow…

It was an eventful weekend… after I face a crazy start to my weekend…
There was so much going on that I would need more time to write… ;D

A lot of ‘moving‘ around…
A little bit of ‘shopping‘… hmmm, I bought cleaning cloth and soap powder.
Some usage of ‘muscle‘ here and there… SOME.. some..
Did some spring ‘cleaning‘ at the apartment… Christmas! Christmas!
Went back to Klang for ‘tong yuen‘.
A Chinese delicacy which brings the meaning of family reunion…
and.. of course, usage of the ‘brain‘ to keep it at optimum level… on SUNDAY!

ermm.. quite a fair bit of ‘makan-ing‘ here and there…
Dim Sum during the day and night… quite literally…
Deterred and killed the sick virus away…
Fever and headache was felt on Friday night and killed completely by Sunday night…

Got to know about LapSap event at Palate Pallete from Kel Li cause she always get all hyped up whenever there is LapSap event. hahaha
Anyways, before the LapSap event, was invited by SerpetineGal to her birthday dinner at Brisik on the 19th Sep 2008. You can read more about her birthday at her blog…

Why LapSap? I don’t know. To those who dig this event says that its all about anything. You attend by dressing like half dracula – half mermaid and also jadi. It was really mix and match. Some came “undecided”, while some just “yo! yo! I’m funky munky”

Hennessy Artistry @ Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena

So, this is practically my second Hennessy Artistry party after the previous one at Aloha Club.
It was by far, one of the well organized mass invited guests only event.
Good crowd, good music, good entertainment and of course, great drink!
I’m amazed that with such a huge area:
- There is ample large dancing space
- The ventilation was great, given a huge area
- Parking, is not that bad afterall
Now, I had fun, how much? I shall let the pictures do the talking then…
That was pretty much how I was feeling, when I was there.. a bit the blur..
Andy Kho, the first person I saw when I went in. Yes, I went there alone. Sad right?
The crowd was already dancing to some performance, and I was walking around scouting for people I know. First people, and of all person I met was Patrick Siao. Talk about random… *no picture*
Then, scouted for Aidan, who left me outside the club when I was getting my tag

The DGMB BBQ Party

It took one month to plan.. thanks to Kelz.. You champion la!!
28th of June 2008 it was. Location is at Setapak area…
See, I was at KLUE Urbanscapes prior to this party. It was all well planned that I will be meeting Aaron to pass back his camera and then check-out Urbanscapes a lil’ bit and then, plan for Sin Yee to come up and Nadia to reach KL then I can fetch all of them all lor.. so no need make two journeys ma..
Itupun, Pamsong complain I lambat la and that Amy also complain!! sigh….
but actually is KTM fault lor..
hahaha.. okay.. back to BBQ Party..
It was planned to start at about 4pm.. well.. 3pm to be precise.
Then.. here we come.. at about 6pm-ish…

Oh, credit have to go to Randy and Stanley for doing such “Good Job” in charcoal management! Now you know who to call for BBQ eh?
